west bengal election exit poll 2019:  Who will rule the roost in West Bengal?

The Bharatiya Janata Party is all set for its best-ever performance in West Bengal. BJP is likely to win 12 out of 42 seats, a gain of 10 seats, India TV-CNX Exit Poll has predicted. Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress Party has managed to hold its fort and is likley to win 29 seats.

Trinamool Congress is expected to maintain its political hold on West Bengal but the exit poll has revealed that Mamata Banerjee's party will lose some seats bringing its tally to 29 from 34 in Lok Sabha Election 2014.

However, the Left Front and Congress are turning out to be big losers in West Bengal. It is highly unlikley that the Left Front will open its account. India TV-CNX Exit Poll has predicted a solitary seat for the Congress party.
