It was a pleasant Monday morning in the city as the minimum temperature settled at 22.8 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
According to the MeT department, the humidity level recorded at 8.30 am was 49 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy skies later in the day.
"The skies will turn partly cloudy in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 38 degrees Celsius," the official said.
On Sunday, the minimum temperature was 23.2 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 37.2 degrees Celsius
