UPSC Prelims Result 2017 Declared, Check UPSE Civil Services Result At www.upsc.gov.in

UPSC Result 2017: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the result of the civil services preliminary examination at www.upsc.gov.in on 27th July 2017. The examination was held on June 18.

UPSC Result 2017: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday declared the results of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2017 on its official website www.upsc.gov.in. The exams were held on June 18. Qualified candidates are eligible to sit in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2017. All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for main exam online, the UPSC said in a press release.  The form will be made available at the UPSC website -- www.upsc.gov.in -- from August 17 to August 31, 2017 till 6.00 pm.

Here is how you can check if you are qualified to sit in Civil Services (Main) Examination:

Step 1- Login to www.upsc.gov.in

Step 2- Click on the link "Result: Civil Services (Prelim.) Examination 2017" under "What’s New" section. You will directed to a PDF file.

Step 3- Check if your Roll Number is listed in the PDF

UPSC Prelims 2017 cut off:

The UPSC today said that cut off marks and answer keys of the Prelims will will be uploaded on the website www.upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of civil services (main) examination, 2017 is over and the final result of Civil Services Examination is declared.

 

UPSC Mains Exam Date:

The civil services (main) examination, 2017 will be held from October 28. The UPSC will fulfil approximately 980 vacancies through the examination. The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages preliminary, main and interview to select officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
