After fainting during an event in Maharashtra, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that there is nothing to worry about his health and he will get the complete check-up done tomorrow.
Gadkari fainted during an event in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar on Friday, however, his condition was later reported to be stable.
The minister for Road Transport and Highways was the guest of honour at Mahatma Phule Agricultural University. He was there to participate in the convocation ceremony.
Gadkari , who fell unconscious at the event, is now said to be stable. A team of doctors is presently attending the union minister. The minister also tweeted to say that his condition was stable now.
"Had slight medical condition due to low sugar. I have been attended by doctors and I am doing well now. I thank all of you for all the well wishes," Gadkari said.
Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao, who was also present at the venue, was seen helping Gadkari out when he collapsed.
Gadkari, who is Type-2 diabetes patient, had underwent a gastric bypass surgery in 2011.
