An explosion was reported on Thursday at a roadshow of KT Rama Rao, son of TRS president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
According to latest inputs, the blast was triggered as hydrogen balloons carried by TRS workers exploded in the crowd minutes before KT Rama Rao's roadshow in Uppal.
At least five people were reported to be injured, according to reports. The incident happened when hundreds of TRS workers who had gathered to attend Rao's roadshow, were carrying helium-filled balloons and party flags waiting for the minister's arrival.
