Strong dusty winds bring down mercury in Delhi

Strong dusty winds lashed some parts of the city which left to a drop of mercury, the official said. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the normal, a Met Department official said.

Strong dusty winds bring down mercury in Delhi

Strong dusty winds lashed some some parts of the city on Thursday, bringing down mercury, a MeT department said.

Weather remained pleasant in the national capital on Thursday with the maximum temperature settling at 32.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the normal, a Met Department official said.

The humidity oscillated between 79 and 49 per cent.

The Met office has forecast overcast skies along with mist on Friday morning.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 33 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature recorded was 23 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 34.6 degrees Celsius.
