Sister of BSF soldier Gurnam Singh, who got injured in a sniper fire attack by Pakistani Rangers, has requested the Indian government to take him abroad for the treatment as his condition is serious.
While talking to media, Gurjeet Kaur said: “He is critical. Why can't Govt take him abroad for treatment? Ministers go why not take a soldier?”
“Also why not call a team of foreign doctors? We are worried about his current condition,” she asserted.
Gurnam Singh got critically injured when Pakistani Rangers violated the cease fire violations along the Line of Control at Hiranagar Post in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Singh is currently undergoing treatment at Government Medical College in Jammu.
In reply, Indian border guarding force launched an aggressive offensive against the Pakistani firing and had killed 7 personnel of Pakistani Rangers and a terrorist.
Earlier on Thursday, security forces foiled a major infiltration bid by a group of six militants along the LoC in Kathua district of J&K.
