RSS sources confirmed that Bhagwat will attend the two-day ‘maha shivir’ being organised by the affiliate on July 30-31 but it has not officially confirmed the guest list.
Its spokesperson MG Vaidya said he is "not aware of any celebrities attending."
Reports say, besides Bhagwat, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale will attend the mega event.
The programme will be held at Hertfordshire County Show Ground in Luton, 45 km from London and more than 2000 Hindus are expected to attend the event.
