Erstwhile royal family member Diya Kumari won the Rajsamand parliamentary seat by defeating her nearest rival Devkinandan of the Congress by over five lakh votes.

Kumari was contesting the Lok Sabha polls for the first time.

Union minister P P Chaudhary wins from Pali by 4,81,597 votes from Pali. 

BJP's hopes for a whitewash in Rajasthan took a hit as Rashtriya Loktantrik Dal (RLD) opened their account. BJP has won 21 seats so far, and are leading on 3, making them favorites to win 24 of the 25 seats in the state.

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje's son Dushyant Singh on Thursday emerged victorious from the Jhalawar-Baran Lok Sabha seat.
Singh defeated his Congress rival Pramod Sharma by a margin of 4,52,928 votes.

Sharma, a BJP rebel, had joined the Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha election and contested the polls for the first time.
Singh got 8,87,400 votes against 4,33,472 votes received by the Congress candidate.

Jhalawar-Baran has remained BJP's fortress for nearly 40 years.

Raje had represented the seat for five terms from 1989 to 2004 after which her son was elected from the seat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the Lok Sabha elections by raising "emotional issues," CM Ashok Gehlot said.

"You (Narendra Modi) have secured victory by raising emotional issues. Now, people have hopes and expectations from PM Narendra Modi and his government. It needs to be seen how much he proves to be true to them,” he said.

Arjun Meghwal wins from Bikaner by defeating his cousin Madan Gopal Meghwal by 2,64,081 votes.

Vasundhara Raje's son, Dushyant Singh, wins from Jhalawar-Baran seat for a fourth time by 4,53,928 votes.

Jaipur's princess Diya Kumari recorded a margin of over 5 lakh votes in a huge win from Rajsamand seat.

Former BJP leader Jaswant Singh's son and Congress candidate in Barmer, Manvendra Singh has been defeated by the saffron party's Kailash Choudhary by a margin of 3,23,808 votes.

Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot faced defeat in his maiden election from the Jodhpur Lok Sabha seat, which was won by the BJP's Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for a second consecutive time. Shekhawat won the seat with a high margin of 2,74,440 votes.

The BJP is all set for a clean sweep in Rajasthan again with the party bagging six seats and leading in 18 others in the Lok Sabha election results.

The BJP MP is set to improve his victory margin from the 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, where he won by 1,71,983 votes. 

Jaipur princess Diya Kumari (BJP) is 5,48,952 votes ahead of her nearest rival, Devkinandan (from Indian National Congress) from Rajsamand. In 2014, Hari Om Singh Rathore won the seat.

Devji Patel has won by a margin of 2,61,110 votes from Jalore. Indian National Congress' Ratan Dewasi stood second.

BJP candidate and Union Minister Gajendrasinh Shekhawat retained his Jodhpur seat which he won in 2014 Lok Sabha election. He defeated Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's son, Vaibhav Gehlot, by a margin of two lakh 70 thousand votes.

As the BJP heads for a clean sweep in the Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Thursday said the people's mandate has to be accepted. 

"We accept the people's mandate with humility. Congress has always worked to build a strong democracy. I thank the people of the state and Congress workers for peaceful participation in polling," Gehlot said. 

Dushyant Singh, the son of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, is leading by over 4.29 lakh votes from Jhalawar-Baran parliamentary seat for the fourth consecutive term.

Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and sitting BJP MP Devji Patel Thursday seemed close to registering their hat-tricks on Bikaner and Jalore Lok Sabha seats respectively by defeating Congress candidates, counting trends reveal.

The sitting MP from Jodhpur seat and Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Gajendra Singh is leading by a margin of 2,24,426 votes, beating Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's son and Congress' candidate Vaibhav Gehlot.

BJP candidate Arjun Lal Meena is leading from Udaipur with a record margin of 4 lakh votes. Congress' Raghuveer Meena is trailing.

BJP candidate from Bhilwara parliamentary seat Subhash Baheria is leading by 6,07,233 votes over his nearest rival of Congress.

Ganganagar, the reserved seat for Schedule Caste, is seeing the return of four-time MP Nihal Chand. Chand is leading with over 7 lakh votes. Behind him is Congress' Bharat Ram Meghwal with 423961 votes. In the last Lok Sabha elections also, Nihal Chand had defeated Cong's Bhanwarlal Meghwal by a margin of 291741 votes.

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje thanked voters for electing the "farsighted leadership" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The BJP under the leadership of its president Amit Shah and PM Modi has reached new heights. I would like to thank the voters of Rajasthan," Raje said while addressing the media at BJP headquarter in Jaipur.

Celebrations begin outside Bharatiya Janata Party office in Rajasthan's Jaipur as the party nears victory.

The incumbent MP from BJP and Vasundhara Raje's son, Dushyant Singh is leading from Jhalawar-Baran seat. He is contesting against Congress' Pramod Sharma and BSP's Badri Lal.

BJP candidate Arjun Ram Meghwal is leading from Bikaner constituency. He has contested the election against Congress' leader Madan Gopal Meghwal.

Supporters of the BJP gathered in large numbers at its state headquarters here after trends indicated a majority of the seats coming in favour of the saffron party in Rajasthan.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading on 24 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan, while its ally Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) was ahead on one seat and the Congress was trailing on all the seats, vote count trends shows.

Union Ministers of State Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Kailash Chaudhary are key candidates of BJP for Rajasthan seats.

Seven out of the total 24 BJP candidates in Rajasthan are leading by a margin of more than one lakh votes, according to Election Commission trends.

Union Minister Rajvardhan Rathore is leading from Jaipur Rural, whereas Congress leader Manvendra Singh is trailing from Barmer. 

Congress had fielded Krishna Poonia against Rathore. 

The Bharatiya Janata Party is ahead on all 25 seats.

The early trends show that BJP is leading on 229 seats and Congress is leading on 56 seats.
