Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday met a delegation of Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Meng Xiangfeng and said it was a meaningful exchange of views.
"Met with the CPC Delegation led by Mr Meng Xiangfeng, member of the CPC Central Committee for a meaningful exchange of views," the Congress president tweeted.
The Congress president, who was accompanied by Congress leaders Anand Sharma and Mukul Wasnik, also posted two pictures of his meeting on the micro blogging site.
This meeting comes against the backdrop of Doklam standoff and both the countries making efforts to improve ties post the impasse.
