Self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa, who is accused in two separate cases including of dowry harassment, today got special treatment at New Delhi's Vivek Vihar police station.
In a photograph shared by news agency ANI, Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radha Maa, dressed in her favourite red colour traditional attire, was seen sitting on the Station House Officer's chair. However, the officer who stood next to her can be seen standing with folded hands with a red 'chunari' around his neck.
According to sources, the Delhi Police has initiated an inquiry into the incident.
Meanwhile, in Delhi's GTB Nagar, policemen were also seen singing with the self-styled godwomen.
In September, days after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was sent to jail for raping two disciples, the Punjab and Haryana High Court directed Punjab Police to file FIR against Radhe Maa.
Earlier, on April 28, the Bombay High Court had asked the police to record the statement of a city resident who had alleged that sRadhe Maa had instigated her in-laws to harass her for dowry.
Her name has also figured in the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad's list of "fake" religious heads.
