It was a tragic day for India on February 14th, as at least 40 CRPF personnel were killed while five others were injured in one of the deadlines terror attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. A Jaish-e-Muhammed suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying about 200 kgs of explosives into the bus carrying the personnel. CRPF issued a statement on Thursday that reads: We regret to inform that 40 personnel attained martyrdom and five personnel were injured in the ID blast at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir. The injured are being treated at the 92 base hospital of the Army in Srinagar.
Soon after the ghastly terror attack, people started expressing anger at this act of cowardliness and demanded the authorities to take strict action against such acts of terrorism.
