The outrage over Pulwama terror attack continues across the nation with the Jammu and Kashmir administration issuing orders to scrap the security of five separatist leaders on Sunday. According to the order, all security and vehicles provided to the separatists stand withdrawn. In addition, no security forces or cover will be provided, under any pretext, to them or any other separatists. If they have any other facilities provided by the government, they are to be withdrawn forthwith. Meanwhile, the traders' body CAIT has called for a nationwide trade bandh on Monday to express solidarity with the families of security personnel martyred in the carnage.
Forty Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday when a Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into their bus in Pulwama district. The bus was a part of a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying CRPF personnel from Jammu to Srinagar.

Reacting to the Jammu and Kashmir authorities' move to withdraw security cover of separatists, the Hurriyat Conference on Sunday said they had never sought security cover.
"The government had decided on its own to provide security to separatist leaders which was never demanded in the first place," the Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq said in a statement.
"Mirwaiz Umer Farooq in fact said many times during his Friday sermons that he wanted withdrawal of the security cover.
"The decision to withdraw security will neither change the stand of separatist leaders nor affect the situation on the ground," the statement added.
