PM Modi in Silvassa LIVE: 'Our only aim is devt, we want to work for 130 crore Indians'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai, Surat and Silvassa today.
The prime minister began the day with a visit to Hazira in Surat district of Gujarat where inspected L&T Armoured Systems Complex that will manufacture 100 units of K9 Vajra-T 155 mm / 52 calibre Tracked Self-Propelled gun systems for the Indian Army.
The prime minister also unveiled a plaque and dedicated it to the nation. In July 2018, L&T had announced that it had entered into a contract with South Korea's Hanwha Techwin to jointly manufacture the K9 Vajra-T, a variant of K9 Thunder, which is inarguably the world's best 155 mm / 52 calibre self-propelled howitzer.
PM Modi will also laid the foundation stone of Nirali Cancer hospital at Navsari, the twin city of Surat. The ultra-modern Nirali Cancer Hospital will be tfirstist comprehensive cancer hospital of Navsari. It will benefit cancer patients of South Gujarat and neighbouring states.

2:00 pm: The prime minister will also unveil plaque to inaugurate various development projects in Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. PM Modi will also launch the m-Arogya app and door to door waste collection, segregation and processing of Solid Waste in Dadra and Nagar Haveli digitally.
In Mumbai, PM Modi will inaugurate the new building for National Museum of Indian Cinema and address the gathering. The Museum has been set up to showcase the rich cinematic history of India as well as to encapsulate socio-cultural history of India as revealed through evolution of Cinema. It will take the visitors through an absorbing journey of more than a century of Indian Cinema in a story telling mode with the help of visuals and graphics, film clippings, publicity materials and interactive exhibits.
