An IAF personnel collapsed at Delhi’s Rashtrapati Bhavan following intense heat wave, during the guard of honour ceremony for visiting Seychelles President Danny Faure. Prime Minister Narendra Modi walked up to the airman and enquired about his health after the ceremony had ended and the dignitary had left. Modi asked him to take care of his health.
After spending a few minutes talking to him, PM Narendra Modi left for his official abode. Confirmed the Prime Minister's Office. The airman had fainted when the guard of honour was being presented to the visiting dignitary. He was attended by his colleagues and others present at the occasion.
Faure was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday morning. The Seychelles President is on his first bilateral visit to India.
