Flight OG 108 on June 6 was delayed due to "operational reasons", Star Air has said. On Thursday there were reports of passengers being stuck at the Ahmedabad airport due to the delay. "It was an unfortunate incident that happened at Ahmedabad airport with Star Air. We received the delay from the airport due to the operational reasons. The delay time was tentative from the airport where we couldn’t understand the exact delay time," the airlines said.
Star Air has started operating in Ahmedabad under UDAN and offer very continent and very affordable travel option to the customers.
Star Air also reiterated that they were a customer-centric airline and were committed towards passenger service.
The said flight had to leave for Belgaum at 11.25 am on June 6 but got delayed.
India TV got in touch with a few passengers who had been left stranded at the airport for more than three hours.
"We have been sitting here idle for three-four hours now. And it looks like we will have to wait more," a passenger told India TV.
The airlines, however, provided water and meals to passengers who were willing to stay.
