Nowshera: Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC again

Pakistan army targeted Indian army posts. The firing took place between 10:30 pm and 12:30 am last night. No loss of life was reported.

After flag meeting at the International Border, Pakistan army again violated ceasefire. It resorted to unprovoked firing in Nambh and Sher village areas of Nowshera sector. 

Indian army retaliated equally. 

Pakistan army targeted Indian army posts. The firing took place between 10:30 pm and 12:30 am last night. No loss of life was reported.

Meanwhile, on Monday, ex Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Tara Chand alleged that the Narendra Modi government had "totally failed" in ensuring the safety of border residents in the state. He also condemned unprovoked, indiscriminate firing and shelling by the Pakistan army on the people living in the border areas. 

"Pakistan is shamefully targeting the civilian population," he said, reported PTI. 

Chand alleged the Modi government had "totally failed" in ensuring the safety and security of the border residents. The Modi government's "utter failure" in dealing with Pakistan in the last four years had caused huge losses in terms of lives and property, he alleged, the news agency reported. 

He also claimed that many ceasefire violations occurred in the last four years of Modi government.
