New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will today file a chargesheet against Dawood Ibrahim led D-Company members who wanted to create communal tension in the country by targeting religious and the Rashtiya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders.
According to Director General of NIA Sharad Kumar, the agency will file the chargesheet in an Ahmedabad court.
"The NIA will file chargesheet in an Ahmedabad court against D-Company members who wanted to create unrest in country, on Saturday. The D-company members wanted to create communal tension in the country by targeting religious and RSS leaders," Kumar said.
As per reports, the investigating agency would be filing a chargesheet against 10 D company members.
Earlier, there were rumours that India's most wanted underworld don and the man behind the 1993 Bombay serial blasts has crippling gangrene in his legs.
Reports suggest that the doctors treating Dawood have said his gangrene is in such an advanced stage that they would have no option but to amputate his legs soon.
It is reported that the underworld don is being treated by doctors from the Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi, and the Combined Military Hospital, Karachi.
