Its construction period will be seven years because of a very difficult terrain where in some areas temperature dips to minus 45 degree celsius. The bridge is constructed on Lohit River – a tributary of Brahmaputra river and connects Dhola in the south to Sadia in the north. With a total length of 9,150 meters, this bridge now occupies the top position in the list of longest bridges in the country. It is the first permanent road connection between northern Assam and eastern Arunachal Pradesh.
