New Delhi: The initial phase of a marriage is the happiest for the bride - more so when her husband is loving and an independent, well-settled businessman in Dubai. Unfortunately, everything isn’t like it seems.

Hailing from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, Jyoti Motwani tied the knot with Dubai-based Hitesh on November 25, 2014, in a dream-like ceremony in Udaipur. The couple appeared happy and totally in love with each other.

Back then, nobody could have imagined that something this unfortunate was about to transpire in the coming months.

On September 10, 2015, Jyoti was found dead after she allegedly fell from the seventh floor of her building in Dubai. However, it is still a mystery whether her death was an accident, a suicide or a murder.

Jyoti’s family is adamant that their daughter could never take the drastic step of ending her own life. They, however, have doubts on her in-laws including her husband Hitesh.

Bhagwan Das Motwani, Jyoti’s father, said that her in-laws haven’t cooperated with him in the investigation. “They are calling it an accident which I highly doubt,” he said.

“As they are financially miles ahead of us, they could easily use their power to mould the case in their favour and win it,” he added.

He also said that there hasn’t been any sort of help from Dubai police too.

Her family is on a constant look-out for a clue that could take them closer in solving the death mystery of their beloved daughter, so much so that her father has put forward an appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for his help in the matter.

"I would like to request our honourable Prime Minister to look in to this case and help us in concluding this sensitive issue," said Bhagwan Das.
