At least 25 people were injured after a stampede broke out at the Garibnath Temple in Biahr's Muzaffarpur on Monday morning. According to initial reports, the cause of the ruckus was the massive turnout of the devotees on third Monday of the Shravan month of the Hindu calendar.
The crowd swelled to large numbers and went out of control resulting in stampede. The situation is not under control, ANI reported.
