Sunayana Dumala, the wife of Kansas shooting victim Srinivas Kuchibhotla, today remembered her husband on his 33rd birthday by sharing an emotional note on Facebook.
“Happy Birthday My Love!! It feels weird to wish you this way. Missing you a lot. Hoping you are celebrating and having fun in your new abode surrounded by wonderful things and people, with only love around. Lots of love...” Sunayana posted on her FB wall.
Aviation engineer Kuchibhotla’s untimely death has shocked his entire family and his parents are too grieved to remember the birthday of their son, according to a report in Hindustan Times.
32-year-old Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who worked in aviation systems for Olathe-based Garmin Ltd, was killed after an American Navy veteran Adam Purinton opened fire on him in a bar in Kansas City, shouting “terrorist” and “get out of my country” on February 22.
Kuchibhotla’s friend Alok Reddy Madasani was also injured in this shoot out.
