A man on Tuesday was handed over to the Delhi Police for making lewd gesture at a woman in Rohini's Vijay Vihar area.
The incident happened when the woman was on her way to deposit money to a bank. Police said that initially the woman tried to ignore him but when he started harassing a 12-year-old girl standing nearby then she caught hold of him and pushed him to the ground. Even local residents joined her in thrashing him.
The man was later handed over to the police for his misbehaviour.
As per a PTI report, the woman had to wait for approximately three hours at the police station for getting case registered.
