Lucknow robbery
One dead, another injured after being shot at by bike-borne miscreants near Raj Bhavan, Lucknow on Monday when they were guarding a cash van. The miscreants fled away with a bag they picked from the van. According to reports, the criminals were fleeing with van full of cash from the nearby bank. The firing occurred when the people inside the van protested against the robbery. In the firing that ensued, shots were fired by hooligans killing one and injuring another. According to latest reports, the face of one of the accused have been captured in the nearby CCTV camera. He was seen driving a white bike.
Meanwhile, a revolver of one of the miscreant fell down during firing have been retrieved by the police. According to witnesses, six to eight shots were fired. Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Law and Order Anand Kumar said that two persons came on a bike and after firing multiple rounds fled from the sceen with the cash. ADG added that the motorcycle has been traced and efforts were on to nab the culprits.
