The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) BJP has finalised a seat-sharing arrangement with its Bihar ally Lok Janshakti Party with the latter contesting on 6 seats, while the saffron party and JDU will fight on 17 seats each.
Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan, his son Chirag and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held an hour-long meeting with BJP chief Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi today.
Shah made the announcement here in the presence of JD (U) president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Lok Janshakti Party chief and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan.
The LJP will also be given a Rajya Sabha berth and Paswan is likely to be its candidate.
