Restrictions imposed in Valley

Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir imposed restrictions in parts of the Valley on Friday in view of nocturnal protests in parts of Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian and some other places. The Valley witnessed unrest soon after the news about the killing of Zakir Musa, chief of Ansar Ghazwatul Hind, spread.

All educational institutions across the Valley will remain closed today.

In order to maintain law and order, the authorities have snapped mobile internet services across the Valley. Even the speed of fixed landline broadband connections has been reduced to prevent uploading of inflammatory posts and pictures.
