Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan violates ceasefire thrice a day, 2 Pak troops killed

The Pakistan army outraged the ceasefire at three places including Naushera sector

Pakistan yet again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowshera sector, resorting to unprovoked firing.


  

The Defence Minister Spokesperson Lt. Col. Manish Mehta said, "The Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, heavy automatics and mortars in Naushera sector."

The firing and the shelling by Pakistan started at 2pm which followed retaliation by "the Indian Army posts strongly and effectively".

The firing was continuing late afternoon. On Wednesday, the Pakistan army outraged the ceasefire at three places including Naushera sector. The Indian Army killed two Pakistani soldiers in Bhimber Gali sector of Poonch district out of revenge.

Earlier, two Pakistani soldiers were killed today fierce retaliation by Indian troops as Pakistan Army today violated ceasefire in Kashmir’s Poonch and Rajouri districts.

There have been 10 ceasefire violations in past four days and total 14 ceasefire violations along the LoC and the International Border in Jammu region since January 1, in which one civilian died and seven others were injured.

In escalated terror violence in Kashmir, militants engineered seven grenade attacks and firing incidents in the Valley yesterday in which 14 policemen were injured and four rifles snatched by militants from the them.
