At least 20 people were killed and over 13 others were injured when the driver of an overcrowded mini bus lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into a 200-feet deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Saturday, police said.

"Sixteen critically injured passengers have been evacuated from the accident site... Police, Army and civilians are engaged in the rescue effortS," police sources said.
