Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday to review the security situation in the state.
The home minister will take stock of the overall situation after the conclusion of the municipal elections in the State.
He will also discuss with officials the ground situation in Kashmir following killings in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
The state authorities have suspended classes in all educational institutions in Srinagar, Bandipora, Kupwara districts.
All educational institutions from Class 11th to college level shall also remain closed in Anantnag, Pulwama, Shopian, Baramulla and Sopore.
