The body of the former Special Police Officer (SPO), kidnapped by the terrorists, was recovered from Nikloora in Pulwama.
The former SPO and two other persons were kidnapped on Friday by unidentified gunmen in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The gunmen had kidnapped Basharat Ahmad Wagay, a former SPO, Zahid Ahmad Wagay, and Reyaz Ahmad Wagay from their village at Reban in Zainapora area of Shopian.
Two other kidnapped persons have been freed by the terrorists.
