At least five militants have been reportedly gunned down by the security forces after an encounter broke out in Kellam area of Devsar in south Kashmir's Kulgam district today. The house where militants were holed up has been blasted. The forces have recovered weapons and warlike stores from the militants hideout, news agency ANI said.
Bodies of the killed militants have been recovered, but the identity was yet to be ascertained. Heavy stone pelting by locals has injured four CRPF personnel. Search operation continues.
