Encounter in Bandipora's Hajin
Two terrorists were killed in ongoing encounter with security forces in Bandipora’s Hajin on Thursday. Gunshots were heard in Hajin area of Bandipora in North Kashmir following which the 13RR and the Jammu and Kashmir began the search operation.
According to the police, a patrol party of the Indian Army and state police were fired upon in Hajin's Parray Mohalla on Thursday morning.
The gunfight began in retaliation to the firing by terrorists.
"The operation continues. Reinforcements have also been rushed in to tighten the cordon around the militants," a police official said.
