Four policemen were martyred after being attacked by terrorists in Shopian's Arahama village in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Militants attacked the police party near Arahama fruit market. Name of those who lost their lives are Javed Ahmed, Mohammad Ishfaq, Mohammad Iqbal and Adil Manzoor bhat.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) S.P. Pani said the exact details were being ascertained. Reports from the area said the police party was going for repair of the vehicle when it came under attack. According to reports, the militants decamped with three service rifles of the slain cops, reported IANS.
The entire area was cordoned off.
