Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday said that though the Congress will play a significant role in 2019 parliamentary polls, he asserted that without the regional parties, the fight against the BJP can’t be won.
Speaking at the India TV-Lokmat Conclave, Omar said that if the BJP gives PM Modi the credit for electoral victories then the responsibility of the defeat should also lie at his doors.
Omar Abdullah praised Rahul Gandhi for leading the Congress to victory in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
