In a bizarre case of harassment, a husband tattooed his name and date of birth on his wife's throat because of which she could not eat or drink anything for many days.
A local court issued notices to victim's husband Parv, father- in-law Girish, mother-in-law Indu, sister-in-law Astha and her husband Sidharth for harassing their daughter and committing domestic violence, reports Times of India.
"Pari married Parv after a three-year affair on May 15, 2016. On the next day of marriage her husband asked her to tattoo his name on her hand. After that, he asked her to tattoo his name on her private parts against which she protested. However, he then forcefully tattooed his name and date of birth on her throat because of which she could not eat or drink for many days," Krishna Kumar Kunhare, Pari's advocate told TOI.
"She finally approached the women's station and getting no help from there, filed a petition at the district court against her in-laws," Kunhare added
The court then ordered the women and child development (WCD) department to conduct an investigation into the allegations.
