A top official of a private firm was found dead in his flat in Greater Noida west's Gaur City. The man, identified as Raju Nagabandi, was found dead in the 11th floor flat of Gaur City's 12th Avenue apartment.
Nagabandi, who was from Andhra Pradesh, was posted as general manager (operations) at Subros Limited in Noida Phase - II. He was with the firm since 2006.
Police said prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, however, it is probing every angle in the incident.
According to reports, Nagabandi didn't report to work on Wednesday. Calls on his phone by his friends went unanswered. Alarmed at this, a few officials from his office reached his house. The door of his flat was locked from inside.
The officials then tried to look inside the flat through the window. They found Nagabandi hanging from the ceiling following which the police was informed.
Police said they could not find any suicide note in the flat. Nagabandi's wife and family members have been informed about the incident and his body has been sent for post-mortem.
