Bhopal: In a bizarre incident, a woman who was fed up of his husband’s alcohol addiction put feviquick in her eyes while he was asleep.
The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district on Wednesday where Santosh, a mechanic, reached home drunk and quarrelled with his wife Vijaya Laxmi, later he went to sleep. But next morning, he was unable to open his eyes. A distressed Santosh called his wife but he got no answer. He washed his eyes but no avail. Then he realised it could be the work of his wife, he started screaming but Laxmi did not let neighbours enter the house, saying it’s their personal matter.

Santosh was rushed to the district hospital where efforts are being made to open his eyes.
According to police, the couple quarrelled frequently over Santosh’s addiction to alcohol and they were also facing financial problems.
