Following the arrest of jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim’s ‘adopted daughter’ Honeypreet on Tuesday, India TV gained access to an exclusive video of her being interrogated by the police at Panchkula’s Chandi Mandir police station.
In the video, Honeypreet can be seen getting interrogated by three lady officers and a senior official.
According to India TV sources, Honeypreet is being questioned about how she evaded the arrest for 38 days and who helped her during this period.
The police is also trying to find out about her role in the violence that broke out in Panchkula on August 25 after the conviction of Ram Rahim in two rape cases.
Sources also said that Honeypreet is trying to circumvent the questioned by the officials, pretending that her mental condition is unstable.
After being on the run for over a month, Honeypreet Insan, alias Priyanka Taneja walked into the Mohali police station on Tuesday afternoon and was taken into custody by Haryana police.
Earlier today, in interviews to two TV channels, Honeypreet claimed innocence, and said that “truth will prevail and the world will see this”.
