The Haryana Police on Monday released a list of 43 people that are wanted in cases of violence that broke out after the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in two rape cases last month.

Dera chief’s closest aides Honeypreet and Aditya Insan are on the top of the list. Both are on the run, and lookout notices have been issued against them.

Honeypreet, the controversial adopted daughter of Ram Rahim, has been missing since the day she was seen accompanying the latter on a special charter aircraft that took him from Panchkula to Rohtak jail. The police have claimed that Honeypreet tried to free the self-styled godman after his arrest.

Aditya Insan, a key Dera functionary and spokesperson, is the main accused in a sedition case for allegedly inciting followers to riot after Ram Rahim’s conviction.

With reports of Honeypreet might be hiding in adjoining areas of Pokhara, Butwal or Virat Nagar in Nepal, Nepal’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has formed 10 teams which have launched massive search operations to nab her.

Meanwhile, Haryana Police have also sent teams to the Indo-Nepal border. The police have reportedly circulated photographs and asked its teams to watch out for women “wearing a burqa or mask”.

Earlier this week, police in Bihar, which shares a border with Nepal, had upped vigil in order to apprehend Honeypreet before she could escape to Nepal.

On Sunday, the police made two fresh arrests in connection with incidents of violence. Pradeep Goyal Insan, a Dera functionary, was arrested from Udaipur in Rajasthan by a Special Investigation Team of the Haryana Police. Prakash alias Vicky, who is brother-in-law of Aditya Insan, was also nabbed today from Mohali, Panchkula's Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Honeypreet, who is in her mid-30s and is considered closest to Ram Rahim, and has been his heroine in the five films that he has directed, produced and acted in, in the last three years. Though both (Ram Rahim and Honeypreet) call themselves as the 'father-daughter' duo, her former husband had accused both of having an illicit relationship.
