A technical snag was reported on Delhi Metro's Red Line late on Friday, throwing passengers in panic as they faced difficulty while traveling on the route. As per statement by Delhi Metro, Overhead Equipment (OHE) caused the snag at two locations on Red Line.
While services were not available on Shahadara to Dilshad Garden, the same were accessible on Shahdara to Rithala section.
"OHE breakdown noticed at two locations on Red Line- near Welcome station & Dilshad Garden station since 7pm. Services not available on Shahadara to Dilshad Garden till OHE is restored. Services are now available on Shahdara to Rithala section only," a statement by Delhi Metro read.
