Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's car was allegedly attacked by a mob on Friday, according to his office.
According to an official in the Chief Minister's Office, Kejriwal's vehicle was attacked by the mob which was armed with sticks. However, nobody suffered any injuries.
A group of about 100 men tried to stop Kejriwal's car and attacked it with sticks, the official said.
The incident occurred when Kejriwal had gone to the outer Delhi locality to inaugurate development works in 25 unauthorised colonies, he added.
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the attack, while also holding Delhi Police responsible for not providing Kejriwal adequate security.
