In yet another case of crime against women in the national capital Delhi, a Canadian national was allegedly raped by a man she befriended at a pub in south Delhi. According to police, the victim met the accused at a pub in Hauz Khas Village.
The accused, identified as Abhishek, later invited the woman to his house where he assaulted her. The Canadian national was later dumped near AIIMS on Tuesday night (June 26).
Acting swiftly on the complaint filed by the woman, the police arrested the accused. A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
