Amid countrywide debate over violence in the name of cow vigilantism, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind president Maulana Arshad Madni has a suggestion for all. Madni says that cow should be declared as a national animal as this way both cows and humans will be safe.
“Do one thing, make a law to declare cow the national animal, this way both cows and human lives will be safe. This will be useful for the country,” Madni said speaking to mediapersons in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur.
This is not the first time when the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind president has made any such statement.
