Three coaches of Darbhanga-Kolkata Express derailed near a railway crossing in Darbhanga on Friday. The incident took place at 5:35 am on Friday morning near Darbhanga Junction Railway Station in Bihar, says report.
The incident took place early morning when all the passengers were sleeping.
Relief and rescue teams and railway officials arrived at the spot to evacuate passengers, as soon as the incident was reported.
The cause of derailment is still unknown, investigations underway.
No information about anyone being injured in the incident has been received so far.
