Bodies of two Naxals were recovered following an exchange of fire between Naxals and the joint team of DRG and STF in Dantewada’s Gonderas jungle in Aranpur police station area around 5 am, on Wednesday.
One INSAS rifle and one 12 Bore weapon with ammunition and other incriminating materials recovered.
"District Reserve Guard female commandos ‘Danteshwari Ladake’ also took part in this encounter," ANI quoted SP Dantewada Abhishek Pallava as saying.
In Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, 30 women including surrendered Naxals cadres or wives of surrendered cadres were recruited in the only woman DRG platoon.
