The district administration of Ghaziabad on Sunday issued closure orders upon all schools till January 12 owing to cold weather conditions in the region. The order is applicable up to Class 12 in all government, government-aided and private schools of Ghaziabad.
However, the administration officials said that the practical exams for Class 12 and pre-board exams for Classes 10 and 12 will be held as per schedule in the district. But no change in school timings has been issued by the district administration of Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The fresh orders were announced after mercury took a dip on Sunday following early showers.
