A baby shark was spotted swimming in a water-filled pothole in the middle of a busy road at Delhi's R.K.Puram and taking the commuters by surprise on Tuesday morning.

While the incident would have otherwise left the city in a state of panic, it soon turned out to be a prank played at the Delhi government by the Delhi unit of the Congress party.

With relentless rain inundating the potholed roads of the capital posing a risk to the lives of commuters, this was Congress’ swipe at Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party government.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay maken today tweeted the image of an artificial baby shark in the pothole of a road in capital’s  RK Puram area.

Taking a cue from Bengaluru, Delhites have also taken to this unique way to protest against the Delhi government over their inability to improve the worsening road conditions in the capital.

Maken, also a former minister, took potshots at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal asking him to wake up in his tweet.

Maken also alleged that Kejriwal is hoodwinking Delhites by showing his government saved public money on flyovers.

In his Tweet, Maken claimed that The Congress regime saved Rs 495 crore while Kejriwal spents extra rs 35 crore

On Saturday, a 45-year-old man was mowed down by a tanker after his motorcycle fell into a rainwater-filled pothole in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area, which exposes the grave danger people of Delhi are facing due to bad roads and worse drainage system.
