At three people died while several are still feared trapped after a massive fire broke out in a plastic manufacturing factory resulting in building collapse in Industrial Area near Sufia Chowk on Monday.
A team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and local rescue teams have reached the site and fire fighting operations are underway.
"Eight to ten people are suspected to be trapped at the site of fire and building collapse", said Commissioner of Police (Ludhiana).
