12:40 pm: A Tamil Nadu court issued a warrant to produce V K Sasikala before it for a FERA case. ED had booked Sasikala & her relative V Bhaskaran for allegedly purchasing equipment for a TV channel in 1996 from a foreign country where they allegedly routed payments via illegal means.

11:27 am:  BJP Kerala General Secretary K Surendran released from Poojappura jail

11:03 am: At least 11 dead after a bus skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Plera in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district today, multiple injuries reported. The bus was heading towards Poonch from Loran. More details awaited.
