Bengaluru: A 45-year-old biker lost his life in northeast Bengaluru on Wednesday night after he fell down from his two-wheeler while attempting to speed away from a bunch of stray dogs chasing him.

The man, identified as Suresh, a resident of Lingarajpuram, owned a medical shop in the Banaswadi area of the city.  He was on his way home after shutting down his medical shop around midnight, when some stray dogs began to chase him as he reached near Rajkumar park.

To avoid being attacked by the dogs, he tried to speed away, but lost balance and fell down.

Suresh, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered severe head injuries.

He was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he was declared brought dead, police said.
